About the art:
Evans was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta on the banks of the Sunflower River, so naturally, her artistic focus has always been capturing the heart and soul of the Delta and its history through paintings of landscapes, agricultural and blues scenes. While this is the primary focus of Evans' art, her work spans beyond her Delta roots to Chicago and Europe, capturing the cultures and history of Chicago, European travels, and Geronimo's home country of Spain.
